This type of restoration is used where there is a new cavity, a broken tooth or old broken silver filling. These restorations can be either composite or porcelain material.
Bonding
Bonding is a procedure where tooth colored filling material is added to the surface of the teeth. This may be used to repair cracks, chips, or fill in spaces. This may have to be periodically added to or replaced since it usually lasts 3-5 years.
